Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

OCN NI Level 2 Diploma in Information Technology and L2 English and L2 Maths; OR 4 GCSEs (Grade C or above) to include English and Maths. Attendance at an information session is advised but not mandatory.

ROI Requirements

OCN NI Level 2 Diploma in Information Technology and L2 English and L2 Maths; OR 4 OLCs (Grade O5 or above) to include English and Maths OR Leaving Cert Applied – Merit. Attendance at an information session is advised but not mandatory.

What's Next?

Further Study

This course can enable students to progress to the OU Foundation Degree in Cybersecurity or the UU Foundation Degree in Computing, both delivered at NWRC (subject to meeting entry requirements). After completing a Foundation Degree, NWRC also offers a Top-Up Degree in Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies. Many past students have successfully progressed to degree programmes at Ulster University, Queen’s University Belfast, and other universities offering computing-related degrees.
