Work Placement
An essential and mandatory element of this course for all full-time students. You will be expected to spend a minimum of 60 hours in the workplace of your specialist area of study in Semester 2 of the course. These hours will be additional and outside your timetabled course hours.

This course can progress you directly into employment or onto a level 3 in Business Administration or other Level 3 course.Career Prospects
For those using the course as a stepping-stone into employment you can start your career as a medical/legal administrator or secretary, providing administration support. Within the medical field previous students have gained employment as medical receptionists/secretaries in a range of health care environments including GP, Hospital, Optician, Dentist and other Allied Health Professional businesses. Previous students who completed legal administration have found work as Legal Personal Assistants and Legal Secretaries in a range of businesses. Regardless of the pathway chosen it does not prevent students from working in other businesses and past students have also secured employment with schools, architects, civil service etc. Not all students want to progress directly into employment, so the course offers the flexibility of enabling students to progress to Level 3 Administration, Business, Health and Social Care, Travel and Tourism etc courses within NWRC.Enquiry
