Combined Studies (Level 3 Access Diploma)

UU
Adult Learning (Access to Higher Education)

Course Overview

Designed for adults, the course will provide the opportunity to achieve an equivalence of 3 ‘A’ levels so that you can progress to higher level courses in further education or to university. You will have to commit to a high degree of independent study and reading, studying up to seven subjects, three are at level 2 (if you don’t hold a GCSE Grade C in Mathematics) and four are at level 3. Students should preferably have a GCSE English Grade C or equivalent, and will also be asked to demonstrate a level of literacy and numeracy at interview. Students without GCSE English or equivalent may be expected to undertake a GCSE English qualification in conjunction with their Access course.
