Students will be required to undertake an assessment at interview to provide evidence of level 2 competence in English and Mathematics. Further Study
For the purpose of admission to HE study, as part of the full award of Access Diploma, a 20 credit L2 Mathematics module, which is passed at 40%, will be recognised by both Ulster University and Queen’s University Belfast as fulfilling requirements for passing GCSE Mathematics at grade C or equivalent. Both the above Universities in Northern Ireland also accept the full Access award as providing evidence of competence in English Language, meeting the general entrance requirement for GCSE English.Completing this course will enable you to apply for higher education courses with us at NWRC or at University, in a range of subject areas. This qualification also provides opportunities for progression to a Higher Level Apprenticeship – a number of which are available for application through NWRC.Career Prospects
