UK Requirements

32 UCAS points at A-Level (must include Art or an Art related subject) together with 4 GCSEs (Grade C or above) to include Art, Maths and English OR Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design, Level 3 Art and Design Foundation Diploma or equivalent Level 3 qualification. A portfolio of work demonstrating your suitability and aptitude for this course must be presented at interview.    Minimum age for entry is normally 18, which may be waived in exceptional cases. We also welcome applications from mature students who will be considered individually based on experience rather than qualifications. All students must attend for interview and present a portfolio of work

Further Study

The BTEC HNC in Fine Art offers a progression route to University courses. Students may be able to progress to year 2 of their chosen BA course dependent on their portfolio , interview and completion of the HNC course Students can also progress to the Full Time HND L5 in Fine Art at NWRC

Career Prospects

Students who complete a BTEC HNC in Fine Art may find work as a professional practicing artist, curator, artist assistant. Many Students have continued with private commissions within the creative industry.
