Course Overview

This course is focused on reducing hair growth and photo rejuvenation of the skin using intense pulse light treatments. You will cover the following units• Client care and communication in beauty related industries• Perform Hair growth reduction using Intense Pulse light systems• Perform Skin rejuvenation using Intense Pulse Light system• Management of health, safety and security in the salon. There will be an online exam on the Core Knowledge of Laser & IPL to be completed as well as an assignment on the Underpinning knowledge of all units listed.This qualification will require research; it includes the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment, tailored to suit individual client needs.

Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 3 Beauty qualification in a relevant discipline prior to undertaking this qualification.
