Painting and Decorating (Level 2 Apprenticeship)

UK Requirements

GCSE Maths and English at Grade D or above (or equivalent). You must also have employment with a N.Ireland registered company confirmed by 31/07/2026. Applicants without ICT @ Level 2 must commit to an additional class for this to be achieved in first year of programme. Applicants that require to undertake additional qualifications (i.e. Maths/English/ICT) must have written consent from their employer that they will be released during the day from work to attend these classes as they may be run on a different day to normal vocational class. PT evening ICT classes @nwrc available prior to September 2026.

Further Study

On successful completion of the Level 2 Apprenticeship it is possible to progress to undertake a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Painting & Decorating, through Apprenticeship NI. Options for further progression include a Higher National Certificate, Higher National Diploma, NEBOSH, or a degree.
