Course Overview

The aim of the OCN NI Level 2 Award in the Principles of Customer Service is to provide customer service skills to front line existing workers or new entrants to customer facing roles.Qualification’s Objectives:The objectives of the qualification are to provide learners in customer facing roles with the knowledge and skills to enable them to: • understand the importance of creating a positive first and lasting impression and how this may be achieved• understand the impact of not addressing customer issues or problems• understand how to communicate effectively in order to engage with customers• be aware of the impact and importance of having a positive attitude in the workplace.This qualification is exclusively available in English.

Entry Requirements

UK Requirements

This qualification is targeted at learners who wish to develop their existing customer service skills or to new learners wishing to enter customer service roles within the travel or tourism industry and related industries.There are no formal restrictions on entry however learners must be at least 16 years of age.

Additional Information

Progression The OCN NI Level 2 Award in the Principles of Customer Service qualification enables progression into further learning in customer service or related areas and/or into employment.
