Everyone is welcome and if you are planning to attend please remember to take a copy of your exam results with you. There’s never been a better time to become an NWRC student, given the opportunities that the College is now providing.

The Strand Road Campus has developed a reputation as the place to be for Music, Performing Arts, Construction, Engineering, Computing and Hospitality and Catering, thanks to the modern studios, theatre, workshops, IT suites and restaurants where the students learn their practical skills. Many students this summer are celebrating having achieved the top results in the Level 3 Extended Diplomas – triple star distinctions – which equates to 420 UCAS points. Others are thrilled to have been accepted to the 2nd or final year of Honours degree programmes having successfully completed their HNDs and Foundation Degrees at NWRC. Across all course areas, students can make the most of the expertise and resources within the College to enhance their skills, from Care and Health to Early Years, Science, Business, Administration and Media Production where students avail of the College’s full HD TV studio and radio station.

The range of courses provide school leavers and those returning to learning, the chance to gain the qualifications that employers are looking for. The practical work experience included in these courses is an added benefit in applying for work or a degree level study as NWRC students have a hands-on insight into their chosen career path. The College is proud of its modern facilities, expert staff and the quality of teaching that is delivered.

But it is most proud of its students who take full advantage of the opportunities provided to them. Without the experience, hard work and dedication of the College’s teaching staff, students would not be achieving their potential.

From the support staff who assist students with application, financial assistance and pastoral care, to the lecturers who bring their industry experience to the course subjects they teach, students are welcomed into a learning environment designed to help them achieve. A number of staff have also picked up regional and national accolades recognising the innovative teaching and their dedication to providing the best experience possible for their students.

There has been a significant number of local students choosing higher education at NWRC, with courses now including a range of exciting choices at HND and Foundation Degree level. With lower tuition fees and more work placement than university options, Higher Education choices at NWRC are a quality route to gaining employment or moving to graduate level study. Start with North West Regional College this September and let your learning experience take you anywhere.
