Course Overview

This qualification is designed for learners with a strong interest in practical, hands-on learning. Learners should have a genuine interest in sport, with a proven record of participation, volunteering, and/or coaching.This course is perfect for anyone who loves sport and wants to learn how to coach, lead, and support others. You’ll get hands-on experience planning and delivering coaching sessions, learn how athletes develop, and explore what it’s like to work in the sports industry. It’s a great pathway into coaching, PE, and sport development, or onto further study if you want to take your passion even further.The course combines classroom-based teaching with practical experience, offering opportunities to gain industry-recognised qualifications such as First Aid, Safeguarding, Coaching, and Refereeing awards.Learners will have access to industry technologies, e.g., STATS Sport and VEO. Learners will build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills.
