The aim of this course is to enhance the competency and confidence of both new and existing sports coaches.Throughout the programme, learners will:Examine the structure of an effective training sessionLearn how to sequence targeted goals within a session to maximise athlete developmentUnderstand how to periodise a training programme across a full sports seasonThis knowledge will equip coaches with the skills to plan, deliver, and adapt training sessions that effectively support the long-term athletic development of young athletes.

The course is combination of theory and practical. Some physical activity may be necessary.
