Course Overview
This course combines the practical hands-on experience of the workplace with the knowledge, skills and understanding gained in the College classroom and workshops enabling you to become a fully qualified electrician on completion of your NVQ Portfolio and AM2 Assessment.Core modules: • Health and Safety and Environmental Technologies• Electrical Principles • Installation Practices and Procedures• Preparation, Planning and Overseeing Electrical Installation• Inspection, Testing, Commissioning, and certification of Electrical installation • Fault Diagnosis and Rectification * Understanding the requirements of 18th Edition regulations BS7671:2018. Our students also have the opportunity to compete in Regional and UK Competitions with the aim of representing your country at World Skills. To succeed every NWRC student requires determination, a love of the subject, commitment to your studies and a good work ethic. The Awarding Body for this course is EAL.
