Reflexology (Level 3 Diploma)

VTCT
Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy

Course Overview

Reflexology is a form of bodywork that involves applying pressure to a clients feet to reduce pain and produce benefits elsewhere in the body. The underlying theory behind reflexology is that there are certain points or reflex areas on the feet and hands that are connected energetically to specific organs and body parts through energy channels in the body. By applying pressure to reflex areas, a reflexologist is said to remove energy blockages and promote health in the related body area. This course covers anatomy and physiology of the human body and practical reflexology techniques.

It made sense for me to study in an area where I could work alongside my studies. There is a huge benefit to the HLA because you can study locally, there’s no course fees and you learn about the industry while you’re working. There are so many employment opportunities!
