Name

Stephen McAteer

Where are you from?

Drumsurn Village

What courses did you study at Roe Valley Residents Association?

OCN L2 Bakery & Patisserie.

Where did you hear about the courses?

Roe Valley Residents Association Community courses in partnership with NWRC.

What do you like about studying in the community rather than having to go to college?

The course I attend was facilitated at the collage as we needed the kitchen and fabulous equipment the collage has to offer. I did find though that although it was at the college there was still that sense of community and warm relaxing welcome and atmosphere throughout.

Have you formed friendships?

Yes, the group has exchanged contact numbers and have really enjoyed the experience together.

Are you hoping to do more courses?

Yes, I hope to enrol for another Community course, I believe in Lifelong Learning.

Would you recommend it to others?

I would recommend to others without a doubt, the knowledge and Skills Aaron (lecturer) has is valuable and he has a great way of connecting and explaining things to everyone no matter how much experience, if any they may have. To sum up in three words would be FUN, EXCITING & THERAPEUTIC.
