This course is aimed at all club-level coaches and athletes across a variety of sports who are interested in deepening their knowledge of sports nutrition and its impact on performance and recovery.The course aims to provide an introduction to the fundamentals of sports nutrition, offering both theoretical knowledge and practical guidance. Learners will explore key areas such as:- Fuelling for Performance: Understanding the role of macronutrients and meal timing to optimise training and competition performance.- Recovery for Competition: Exploring nutritional strategies that support muscle repair, fuel replenishment, and aid in faster recovery between sessions or events.-Hydration Strategies: Learning the importance of hydration, how to monitor hydration levels, and how to implement strategies that maintain optimal performance.
